6 International Trends you See in Indian Weddings now 

Gone were the days, when Indian weddings were merely the gala events of traditions and just traditions. Now you can see the tinge of modernity as well in this traditional event which has ascended the fun to many levels. There is no doubt that wedding when having the charms of different cultures are absolutely amazing. So for this post we thought of sharing with you some foreign trends that can be seen at Indian weddings as well: 

1. Bridal shower 

There was no such thing as a bridal shower. A bridal shower is a party arranged for the bride by her close friends and family members. With pretty decor, the waves of laughter, the celebration begins. Moreover, the bride is showered with love, blessings and GIFTS ... With some dance and games and a lot of memories, the beautiful evening summoned up. 

2. Tossing the bridal bouquet 

You probably have seen in so many movies that all the girls are as excited as brides in her wedding. well, this is because of this ritual which is seen at many weddings. As per it, the bride turns her back to all the standing girls, tosses her bridal bouquet to them. It is believed that the girl who catches the bouquet will be getting married next. For an Indian bride, this looks so much of a fun.

3. Sit down dinner 

In many Indian weddings, you have seen that the bride and the groom stand on the stage while the guests meet them there. But now the trends have changed and you can see them attending guests while they are enjoying the dinner on their allocated seats. Little speeches are also the new trend which can be seen in many Indian weddings nowadays. 

4. Bridesmaids and groomsmen

 There was no such trend of bridesmaids and groomsmen but nowadays you can see this tradition blended well in traditional Indian weddings. With the color coordinated clothes, these boys and girls look absolutely stunning. Also, the bride and the groom can spend those few little extra hours with their "PEOPLE". Do not forget the wedding photos that looks so good with these people surrounding you. 

5. Mr and Mrs FIRST dance

Without dance and music, Indian weddings felt absolutely incomplete. While primarily the family, friends and other guests who dance their hearts out in wedding, now the couples are not tethered by traditions and formality. They love to dance as well and usually have their first dance at the reception after being officially hitched. The perfectly choreographed dance on the romantic music steals the show every time.

6.Elaborated wedding invitations

 As per Indian traditions, wedding cards are always sent with a gift. Primarily it was the "mithai ka Dabba" as not happy occasion is complete without Indian sweets. Now you can see that people prefer many different options like cake in the jar, chocolate boxes, macrons, champagne bottles with initials engraved, etc. These are some new additional wedding favors sent with Indian wedding invitations.
